Nope, sorry mate. Some people are working quite hard in the next version of GeneRally so we can have some more objects and we can even skin them or resize them.

Combine existing objects or draw them directly to landmap.daltoncarl wrote:well how do some people get advanced objects and custom houses?

Some trackmakers are real artists, and make very good use of the landmap, by painting some objects directly on it, with an external graphics program.daltoncarl wrote:well how do some people get advanced objects and custom houses?
(Like MS-paint, GIMP. Neopaint, or photoshop).
By doing this, it looks like these houses, bridges, waterfalls, cars...etc. are 3d-objects, while in reality they are painted, flat drawings on the landmap.
By using shadows, this gives some great effects, which can not be reached using the original objects only.
Good examples of tracks like this are made by D!si (Now Darjo), and Garbre, I'm sure there are many others, just can't remember their names at the moment.
I tried my best at one of my own tracks, drawing a car accident on-track, spectators, and a helicopter, but wasn't satisfied with the results, because getting the right perspective isn't easy.
