THANK GOD Wikipedia is on my side.
The Dauer 962 Le Mans is a sports car based on the Porsche 962 racing car. Built by German Jochen Dauer's Dauer Racing, a racing version of this car went on to win the 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans with the support of Porsche through the use of regulation loopholes

The Dauer is the wrong answer.

Please, guys, we need a tie-breaker here. The Dauer 962 was a Porsche 962 with ALMOST group C specs that took advantage of some BIG loopholes on the '94 regulation of the Le Mans 24h. If not, the last one was the stupid Peugeot 905 Evo1 bis.

C'mon!!! The winners after Group C and BEFORE LMPs were the F1 GTR, the WSC-95 and the 911 GT1. NONE of this cars were made after a Group C base.

C'mon, you cannot consider the Porsche WSC-95 a car based on the Group C since they SEVERLY modified the original Jaguar chassis.

Alonsomania wrote:What is the story behind that race? I'm fascinated in that era (it is one of the eras in which I am the most interested in).
GP in Lviv was held on streets with slippery big cobblestones with tramway ruts on bigger part of the circuit. In fact Caraciolla dominated during the whole race and after damage of the Hans Stuck's car (father of another Hans Stuck :) ) he had no competitors who could beat him. Some people now think that Lviv GP could become as popular as Monaco because of its difficulty, but after crisis began this GP was cancelled forever. After it WW2 began and Soviets took the biggest part of Western Ukraine including Lviv. Soviet races and its own F1 :D is also very intersting part of racing history (but very miserable), but they never took place in Lviv anymore.

You can look for more here. Try to search Lwow, Lviv and Lvov and maybe even Lemberg.

Please, Die, you may issue a protest, but when it's wrong, it's wrong, and Alonso's decisions are final. (ie don't spam)

Now back to the question.

You were close ;)

Question.
Who is this Formula 1 -driver?

interviewer: Many drivers have a special meaning for their helmet (colours, shapes...) What does your helmet mean to you?
Formula 1 -driver: It protects my head.

So who said that?
