[stc] Fleurieu Plains

Post by Alonsomania »

Track turned out well, so i'd thought I should release it.

Inspired by Adelaide in some way; a mix of fast corners, slow 90 degree corners and a technical section.

EDIT: Fixed sand kerbs. Now black instead.

I think it's VERY inspired on Mathee's creations  ... From 2/3 to bottom, it's almost a copy of Mathee's street circuits, specially Palm city and Janeiro.

@Raphael: The part which was built new for Clipsal 500 is nearly the same (only box on other side).
@Alonsomania: I think area in top-right could be more interesting. But I look forward to driving anyway ;)

Good one, Alonsomania. :bg: I'm quite surprised by size of the sand runoffs in the city part (maybe tarmac in Melbourne style could fit there better). And I have small hint about texture - the pavement by 1px-1px of tarmac1/tarmac2 is often too mild to be seen (mainly in background part of map), more impressive would be heavier texture for final impression. ;) Layout is perfect, the first corner is little bit dangerous (because concrete wall), but it's correct for streets. :)

Nice track Alonsomania, reminds me the time when I played Jarret and Labonte racing on the australian championship xD, and I like the kerbs too.

@ Alonsomania: the tag is [stc] (street circuit), not [str]. Next time don't hesitate to check the handbook. ;)

BTW the horse track could have nicer texture, but in sum it's very good track. :bg:
