It's very good! Racing is the main sense of GeneRally. But it's not very fair when slower drivers is higher than a speedster only because they have time for every single race.

If you have the time, it's good to race in all series, because it gives you more points. But you won't have so much points (1+1+1/2+1/2+1/4+...) than with a classical system (1+1+1+1+1+...) : more races give you more points, but less than expected if you take part to a lot of events.

This system has been established concerning drivers who have the time to play all days, to avoid them to have too much points compared to the busy drivers.

This kind of system is/was used in some real competitions, for example only the 11 best results (on 16) was counted in F1 (before 1992), and the 5 worst results was simply erased. With my system I think it's better because all results are counted but the good ones are more important than the worst ones.

Two errors on May ranking:
1-You changed Interlagos(GRF1 Latin America quali/race) and Zito(24h Zito Quali/Race) pictures.
2-On Lombon 12h, you say that each stint has 53 laps. The correct is 23.

Thanks ;)
The MNZ wrote:2-On Lombon 12h, you say that each stint has 53 laps. The correct is 23.
It is not 23 but 27 (look the replays), and Lombon was a particular case : 3 stints x 2 drivers at the same time = 3 x (27+27) = 3 x 54 -> I took 3 x 53 because for each stint the best team won with 27 laps for the 1st driver and 26 laps for the second one : 3 x (27+26) = 3 x 53 laps, and I can't write 3 x 54 laps, else the race distance and average speed of winner would be wrong.

Update is coming soon...

I've jut made a stat, it is about drivers who took part to a lot of events ... without any victory.

And the winners are :D :

Generally : Hermelino, 157 events, 0 victory, best result : 2nd
Race : Trigger Happy, 230 races, 0 victory, best result : 2nd
Hotlap : Buka, 187 hotlaps, 0 victory, best result : 2nd
Timetrial : cico_89, 63 timetrials, 0 victory, best result : 3rd

Qualifications : Buka, 84 qualifs, 0 pole position, best result : 3rd

Now you know what you have to do :bg:

I continue with the "Hall of Shame" :trampo: :shhh:
Drivers with most events and 0 podium :
Generally : Quklis, 149 events, best : 4th
Race : Quklis, 111 races, best : 4th
Hotlap : Hermelino, 62 hotlaps, best : 4th
Timetrial : SpL, 31 timetrials, best : 4th
And an another stat, better I think : drivers who took part at the first event (GPF1 2003 / Australian GP) and still active this year
1) TuomoH (last activity : May 2011, years : 2003 to 2011, 394 events)
2) Alx.it (last activity : February 2011, years : 2003 to 2011, 572 events)
3) LongBow (last activity : February 2011, years : 2003 to 2007 and 2010 to 2011, 227 events)

I really think, that it can end on the website too. I don't feel ashamed at all. :D

Btw I would be interested in more ''Big/Little Four-like'' stats on the website. :flip: E.g. drivers who won each at least once tt/race/hl in general or during one month or who won each at least once tt/race/hl took and pole position and BL together with it in his career. :)

And thumb up for each of those 3 old dogs. :greybeard:
