Here's my WIP, tell me if you see anything really off in your opinion. The track is about 50% done, I'm gonna do more textures, buildings, walls and dithering, leaving the pit last as always.

Fresh ideas are welcome also. :)

Just a quick question regarding my newest WIP, do you think walls are better off without haybales to smoothen the impact or with them? The track's corners are going to be 50% with runoffs and 50% with close walls.

Few screens included how I've done them in some parts of the track.

The track looks great and is fun to drive, the only thing that bothers me are the kerbs, they're just a tad too narrow for my taste, but even that is just nitpicking and personal taste. Since the pit buildings received a lot of controversy, I decided to redo them. I also added a tunnel bridge between the stands, just as a visual effect. Check the starting post to view the changes & download. I did this because I think a track as good as this deserved a better looking pit. I hop...

Oh, I wasn't going to leave them like that, I just do things in a weird order, I've always done the pit area last, just if I decide to change the pit lane somehow I don't have to do the lmap for the pit area twice.

I just didn't understand your comment at first.

Looking good so far? The near side isn't ready yet, can't figure how to make it look good without just dropping random forests in there. :shrug: What do you think about the stands being at the start only? I tried adding them in other places too, but it just doesn't look good with the scenery... But ...

Hmmm. I thought that it'll look too artificial if connected, I'll take a look at them when I work on the track tomorrow. Thanks for pointing that out. :yummy:

And try to keep details in mind too - like making nicer finish line and grid positions or in pits. Otherwise it's nice one. :) Will do. I've been doing research on some of the top notch tracks and pumped up some inspiration and knowledge on how to make good looking details and tracks in general. :bg:

How to say it ... it's too artificial.
