What an awesome carpack! That raises my hopes for a superb BTCC 2012 grid. Keep up the good work! :)

We had the great pleasure to welcome "SevereZero" to our Campus Summer Open Air at Kiel University - lots of people here are now literally addicted to their music:

Re: How did you decide your racing number?

#13 - my personal lucky number. :bsmile:    Hey, I used that number too! Though if I didn't miss all the tournaments (I don't have time for comps because of my uber-lot activities), I'd like to use #76. It's actually the lucky number of N.... , and used by P.. R..... C... . Guess...

Re: Tools & Utilities Request Thread

@ BrianH: On Win7 x64, TrackTool 1.02 starts absolutely well. However it doesn't show any track data - probably because the last supported GeneRally version was 1.05. I used to use TrackTool for optimizing AI lines and I miss it quite much to be honest. Was great fun to analyse the tracks back then...

Don't ask me how I do it, but I keep and keep hitting that one single light pole right at the lake - and I can't help it, I'm laughing my a** off about it! :D :D :D Such a small track and from the picture you wouldn't really expect anything challenging or too special - but actually it's huge fun to ...

Re: [cir] Meine

I like the track! Although there isn't much about it which I would consider "special", it is a solid work. Some things you could improve would be the pit lane which is a bit short with only 3 pits. Another think you did a good job on is the height map. However it would be nice to have some...

Re: [stc] Sunlake Ring

I definitely agree with Tonga, the points made about street circuits in general, I mean. So true :( Actually you don't need to see the car always - GR driving is not about watching the car every second, but about timing between curves. :shhh: You're absolutely right there, but if you sometim...

Re: I'm in love!

Well, what makes a good car design for you? How has a car to look like to please your eye, what lines should the design have, how should it "feel" when you look at it etc. For example you could even come up with an own drawing or another car for example and show what you like about it etc....

Re: [stc] Sunlake Ring

Usually, I am not a fan of city circuits. This is simply down to the fact that on a great majority of city circuits, the view on the track is obscured by trees, buildings etc. Apart from that, the world size is often so large, that the circuit itself gets hard to race on because there are of course ...

Re: I'm in love!

Well, I also thought about where to put it, but no thread really seemed to fit and despite making a bit fun of it, I seriously do like the new design.... and hey, it's a Jaaaaag! :D

Feel free to join in and share your thoughts about car designs you like, Ivo's idea is great! :)

Re: News Thread

Ivo is right - that is what I meant. Having intel is one thing - "intentionally misinterpreting" it (perfect word for that, thanks!) is the other thing. Of course this happens all the time in every country around the world, but not everyone starts a war based on such grounds. That is the t...

Re: [rwl] [cir] Barber Motorsports Park

Wow.... You already really set the bar some several inches higher with your last track "updates" (let's rather call them "upgrades"), but I have to agree, Barber MP so far indeed seems to be your best track. The Hmap is very well done and if I now started to talk about the Lmap I...

Re: News Thread

If USA will confirm the death from DNA tests (which they are waiting for), I'll believe in it. I won't - not because I don't think he's dead (in fact I do), but I just think the USA aren't the best one to believe when it comes to such conclusions. At least I still do remember that WMD lie which the...

Re: News Thread

Well, at least al-Qaida (or whatever they are written like, it's always the same with all those names and bombing clubs) confirmed his death - however it wouldn't surprise me if it was some sort of US propaganda gag (a bit early though, considering that the next presidential elections will be held i...

Re: GeneRally Track Viewer by Bendito

Despite all that bumping stuff - does anyone know any of Bendito's contact data? Unfortunately his Track Viewer (an extremely useful tool in my opinion) doesn't recognize tracks from GR versions greater than v1.10 anymore and it would be nice to perhaps get in touch with him in case he's got any spa...

Re: Guess a car

My first guess would have been some sort of 1950's Fiat, a 1400 convertible or something like that, but some details don't match up, the radiator grille for example... hm... still thinking, that's a nice one. :)
