Hi!
I'm glad you like Pestar. It was a fun endeavor to create the original design, and the remake was really a challenge.
I may revisit old Pestar in the future, but I want to remake my other tracks first, so don't hold your breath.

Lovely! I like this style.

What you mean by "minis"? Do you think World Size 140 is not enough?Santana 2.0 wrote:Alas, as we all could see with your Velo Citta, you've already improved, so I'm hyped for another "full track" from amidst your beautiful minis and so.

Re: [cir] [ovl] Kousivy
Nicely done. I love updated tracks (that's why I'm doing mine ^_^). Two things caught my attention: 1. Your LMap cars seem too flat. Maybe a bit more "oil" on the shapes will make them stand out as small 3d cars; yet don't quote me on that, as I usually leave my parking lots empty due to n...

Re: [rwl] [cir] Circuito dos Cristais / Curvelo
Even though I had already downloaded, I've only read now that you asked for advices. So, I putted on my critic glasses :ugeek: and get to work (and I've already messed with those tracks I've told you, on my old pc, which I'll be near again during the Carnival :yummy: ) Of course! Critics are always...

[cir] Gelsir v2
Gelsir was, IIRC, the first track where I said "Got it!," regarding the HMap. It was really my first good effort using the Track Editor for that: I was using external programs (Corel Photo Paint 8, I believe) for LMap, but HMap was almost a mystery to me. Yet in this version I was able to ...

[cir] Porto Seguro v2
Oh, Porto Seguro. Back to the tracks named after my country's towns. No dithering at the time (dithering? what was that?), curves at 90 or 45 degrees only, hideous pitlane... Okay, this was product of its time. And now everything changed, for better I suppose. As usual, AI line optimized for 100 For...

[cir] Ilhéus v2
Oh, the pits of the old track... How was I able to create such aberration? Don't worry, I believe I have two or three similar hideous pits on the queue. In any case, this track received a good makeover, yet the layout was kept almost like the original. That's a plus in my book. The starting line, ho...

[cir] Turidel v2
Turidel was an easy choice (this time I didn't select one at random). Simple layout, fun race, not much to change. And, of course, I decided to change a lot on the scenario part. For once, this is now a winter track. Get your flu shot before racing there. :ill: AI line optimized for 100 AI Formula, ...

[cir] Dalamare v2
Old Dalamare was a bumpy track. Nothing that could send you car flying around, but visually you could see the bumps. Bug or feature? Like Bethesda, my answer for this was simply yes . So, time to redesign. Getting rid of the random lakes, the row of houses, the stands where you couldn't see the whol...

So, I created one myself.

[cir] Aipins v2
Old Aipins was a flawed concept. All those concrete posts should make the track a little bit more technical -- in practice, it made it annoying. -- If you hit one of those posts, rest assured the car would hit another during the same lap, as it would move erractly after too much damage. And that mea...

Re: [stc] Pestar v2
All your remakes were pretty good until now, and I even managed to update my "FIA AI Championships" with your Curvelo and Vello Citá, but this one made my jaw drop. Superb! ps.: I would just put a wall in the start of the roundabout, for safety reasons. I believe the road cones are enough...

Re: [cir][roa] Colina Hill
Nice figure-8 and clever use of LMap with the power lines. Just a thought: in the past I've considered 4 pits enough, but depending on your racing settings, all cars may decide to pit at the same time -- on my latest tracks I'm trying my best to fit all 6 pits on the pitlane, but I'm not sure you ca...

[stc] Pestar v2
Ok, this one took me longer than the others. The reason is I wanted to create a street circuit based on the original layout, keeping it as close to the original as possible. As I'm not used to street circuits, this was quite a challenge. I hope you like the "extreme makeover" on the track....

[cir] Itabuna v2
Itabuna was a wide track. Wider than it needed, so the challenge was sub-par. And the object placement was not that good (and I pity those who bought tickets to the left-bottom stands, where they could see only a fraction of the track. The redesign changed the turns, so each one has its own challeng...

[cir] Fawre v2
Fawre was a strange track. I was without ideas, but I wanted to create something, so I used the contour of my province as a starting point. It happened the track became almost an oval, considering the minor right turns, but it was disappointing at the time. As a redesign was needed, I've decided to ...

[ovl] Minas Gerais v2
Years ago, I chose the names of many tracks based on Brazilian city and town names. This is the case of Minas Gerais, my first tri-oval.
As you can see, it was a wide track back then. Now it's more on par of what it should be (world size 140).

[rwl] [cir] Autódromo Velo Cittá
Once again, as NobreBJJ asked me, I'm trying my hand at a real track. This time I've made Autódromo Velo Cittá, located in Mogi Guaçu, in São Paulo, Brazil.
As always, the AI line was optimized to Formula at 100 AI, but it also worked well with 70.

First of all, I don't have much experience with real life tracks -- I've only made one before this. -- But as NobreBJJ asked me, I'm trying my hand at Circuito dos Cristais - Autódromo Internacional de Curvelo.
