Re: Downloaded Tracks Preview Thumbnail
Great to hear you found this gem! Kikwik is talking about GR1, Ruttager about GR2. It's not a case of needing help, it's just the way it currently is in GR2.

Re: how to build hills?
You can make nice hills with those tools! For instance, I usually start with the largest HMap adjust and make the broad hmap. Then I refine it with smaller brush. Smooth can then carefully be used to make the driving smoother in places. Just start experimenting with left and right mouse buttons and ...

Thanks a lot for your detailed comment, Kikwik.
Btw, this track is also actually a part of GR2 history. I made this for testing purposes 8 years ago but as the project took unexpected turns, eventually this track was left unused.

[ral] Forester
Here's my Christmas present to all of you! :santa: Right now I have the feeling that this might be my last track... Last track for GR1, that is. Forester is a rally track where the road is lower than the surrounding ground. This one was mostly made in 2014, today I edited the visuals to fi...

Re: Developer Blog
Thanks, Rendy! And cool to see you here. :) I honestly am looking forward for the game, but most definitely the Track Editor, because I feel like it's miles polished from the original! That's exactly my feeling after playing around with the TE. :cool2: I kinda wish you could select and rotate existi...

Re: My GeneRally tattoo
"You want me to tattoo you a cosmical avocado surrounded by 4 moons ? ... Ok." Now that you mention it... It does look like that! I like that you took the most simplistic look of the General, the logo one ; this design suits the best for a tattoo. Thanks :) Is James using yo...

My GeneRally tattoo
Ever since I got my first tattoo, I've known I want to have a GR themed as well. I've been thinking about the design every now and then and it has always come back to the General. :gr: Now that GR2 is coming to reality, I've been marveling at the cool logo design and suddenly it just clicked: that's...

Re: My comics about GR2
 I love it! As for how I look like, here's an AI art piece I made with Stable Diffusion, it looks a lot like me. So you weren't far off! I'm blonde though. As for the content of the comic, my life is good. I've been working on some new tracks lately and... whoa... Is that an alien? :alien: :no...

Re: GeneRacing - Update Thread [old]
:!: For your information: We decided to merge GeneRacing subforum with the Other projects subforum as Elharter has decided not to use this forum any longer and all of the discussion has died long ago. There is no reason to keep a separate section for one project. At the same time I also merged sever...

Re: Every Generally Website that works on the internet!
Hello to everybody. I'm Arrakis81 and for no logical reason I just fixed the download links in my ancient web page 😘 Wonderful, thanks a lot! :hattip: Removed info about dead download links. I noticed that my website ( http://emilpgr.byethost7.com/index.html ) doesn't seem to be on the list. I chec...

Thanks for this hint!
Because the majority of tracks I've kept have been created with the older versions of GR, my main installation actually uses 4:3 resolution.
