Re: Track Restoring Task

Post by LongBow »

Alex wrote:Sorry for double post but how much time is a regular basis? 3 days? A week? A month? And who gave this massive .zip of 10000 tracks to you/TLN? Is it some secret file embedded in Rapidshare or something? All these questions! :hyper:
First of all I moved these post in the "right" thread  to prevent chaos in the track restoring task thread.
Second, the "regular basis" means at least one restored author per week. But it could also happen that 1 month can pass without any restoring at all....and sometimes you will get four authors in one day :D

Looking at the tracks of the old trackmasters... I don't want to take anything away from them, because they were the best of their time and they didn't have so many tools to work with, but it's amazing how far trackmaking has come since then...
I like short, simple signatures!

I must say I quite like old tracks :D. Somehow some of them have their specific atmosphere which I like a lot. I think that they are the same funny as tracks now, just visual things changed

Some old tracks are simply great. Just take for example A-master tracks. Some are just out of this world :eyes: You dont see anything similar these days...

BTW, many thanks to ACM for restoring those tracks. Simply great

Rubbish? Those tracks still look very good 7 years later. I was surprised that on Lego Land 2 the red brick on the top left had Hmap. EDIT: 300th Post! :hyper: :heyea: :woohoo: :mbounce: :mbounce: :mbounce: :band:
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Please don't comment on authors' thread, this thread is the one where you may have discussions from reuploaded stuffs. ;)

Hi GR Players and stuff-makers!
I'm an old trackmaker of Generally, and I havn't played this game for years!
Fortunately, thanks to this new version of Generally, I went back to play and create tracks.
Let me know if it was possible to release my revisited old tracks (I added some new object) in the restored tracks section, or should I put them in a different section?
Thanks for your attention!

I've just released 15 of my old tracks. I hope you'll enjoy them! =)
Additionally I'm working on a new track, I never finished before.
It's a fictional circuit track in the desert.

I'm glad you like Riverport.
I think it's a lot better now, too! :)

A. Ms (Masa) is NOT Masakari. Masakari is completely other guy - from Hungary.
B. It doesn't matter - both links works correctly, it redirects automatically on correct one, so manual changes to forum.gene... are not necessary.

Except that the original link was forum.http etc. which does not work.
