Sorry to say, but these need a bit of work. They look rough and quite frankly, a little sloppy. Spend some time in Paint or another image program cleaning it up. And I have to say, the colors for the Bowser's Castle tracks don't look to great. I think snow was a poor choice imho, it might look better if you used tarmac. That might also solve some of the roughness issues.

Hi, please follow the handbook for uploading tracks, specifically the tags. You should edit the topic title according to that.

I won't say too much since I think puttz may have summed it up and I haven't tested these either but I will help out here.

For starters, have a look at this sub forum for a lot of tips and advice:
http://forum.generally-racers.com/viewforum.php?f=9

A post from myself years ago and is still relevant (and translated into some other languages):

A little bit of time, work and practice though and you can produce some good circuits so don't worry too much. :)

Thanks for the tip. It seems that snow screwed my reputation up.

Ok I'll try to practice making good tracks in my generally editor along with Tarmac you guys recommended.
NOTE: all track making (by me) has come to a halt until further notice.

Oh, can somebody give me a download of a recommended track editor? It looks like the generally editor can't handle HD colors (it only supports 16 bit)

In fact it supports 16-color bitmaps, 512x512. Safest way is to export the Lmap, use your graphics editing program (Paint XP or GIMP for example) and import.
There are some alternatives to GR Track Editor - SnakeDitor and GRHMEdit (found in the Tools & Utilities subforum), but they are focused on different things and do not let you make everything you can do with TE. The first one is focused mostly on creating layouts and automating objects placement, the second one on editing HeightMap. It's best to learn TE + Paint XP first.

Also, I remind you again about adding tags to your topic title according to Handbook for uploading tracks, as you seemingly ignored my earlier request :)

One question: you keep the track in a bmp? Because if you do not keep them in bmp can not use! :vsad: And I think you're missing a step to the HMAP: the poster "HMAP Import" in the track editor. try doing these steps, and if it does not work honestly I do not know how to help!
Sorry for my bad english!

That is what generally uses. You have to use a 512x512 16 bit bitmap to make tracks, the game does not allow any other type of image to be used, and it must also use a specifc pallette.

@5l1n65h07, the Rede Oval track looks like the original logo, but, i recommend that use White line and Ice instead of Border and Ice, and the Bowser Castle circuits looks very good, i'm Chilean and various times i see ID's from Rede Globo of the 70s and 80s in youtube, for see various videos from ID's of the Rede Globo, put in Youtube how words, vinheta rede globo, i put in Portuguese for more results.

Np2003, please don't bump threads older than 30 days unless there's something extremely important to add. You could have sent a private message instead ;)
