[stc] Vihervaara

Post by TuomoH »

Here's another 100% Track Editor track. Vihervaara is a short street course with some [roa] tendencies. The town center area is technical but there is also a fast road section that goes up and down a hill. Notice that when you pit, you have to drive around the town center again! As usual, the AI has been designed for the original Formula.

Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment! :cool2:

Out of your two newest tracks, I prefer this one. There's a great flow and it's surprisingly difficult to get in a clean lap. I like the unconventional pit lane a lot :)

Thanks, Aleksi. I actually also prefer this one. Feels like I was a bit rusty after the break with the other one but this second track worked much better. :)

Wonderful work Tuomo!
That track is incredible for me, as always your use of objects is a master work (for example, the gate made with lights in the upper-left side of the track)
I love the challenging of the tracks, as someone else said, it's very difficult to take a clean lap.
The pit are just perfect, a perfect idea with a perfect result.
After more than 250 tracks, you still have original ideas.  That's incredible. :goal: :goal: Maybe this track is my preferite from yours :bg:
Fantastic work, no other words needed

I'm sometimes amazed by this as well! Never could've dreamt of reaching 250 tracks. :)
Maybe this track is my preferite from yours :bg:
Wow, this is really something! Thanks a lot for your praise. :goodvibes:

Object manipulation on this one is awesome. First race on it I felt a bit foolish after I pitted wrong and watched the AI go in correctly

Really really impressive for only TE! It reall has a very generallish feeling.
How did you make that fountain on the right hand side?

That's made of 8 boats with their rear ends overlapping. :)

Why are you torturing us by a concrete post inside a corner? :ouch:

Seriously, it's great one, house variations appreaciated. :bg:

There's only one corner with a hard object (booth, not a concrete post, btw) inside, you can handle that. :P EDIT: Oh, that concrete post... Seems I've become blind to that.

Thanks for the question about house variations in V'Lage thread, it really made me think about this issue and here you can see the result. :) Thanks a lot for your comment!
