Gravel, tarmac, snow. Whatever the surface, you'll find it here.

Great that you like it :bsmile:
about the hairpin: it is nearly no difference between driving this corner and a real hairpin, is it?

It is basically a hairpin, just broken up very slightly. :P

What im trying to say is that, if i could (and had the skills) to change the corner, i would change the following:

In yours it widens just before the turn. I would have it go straight, then have it turn in one smooth tight corner.

Don't get me wrong (or take it personally), you produced a visual masterpiece.

I just think the shift to the outside make's it look less "hairpiney", I'm only comparing your's to the the two version's Of Germany i have, the original and the 06' version by Markus Moller.
The reason i believe its not like a hairpin is that the shift allows you to take a much wider angle on the entry and exit. I think that the reason its like this is that there is a fairly large space in between the roads, the original had the two sides very close.

The long steep turn should give you a karussel feeling.
I hope you like the Track. Thanks to Darjo and Trigger Happy, they both gave me helpful tips to improve this track.
Have fun, XYY
:wow: Amazing XYY, one of the best Germany I've ever seen (well, other than Markus Moeller's version of Germany :P)!

To complete my 2010 Track updates, here my last booked track:
:cflag: SWITZERLAND 2010 :cflag:

This is my last updated track in 2010.
I increased the WS on 140. I know some guys think this is too extreme but I don't agree with them at this point.
Otherwise theres not much to say about this track, except that I'm a bit unhappy with the pits

i thought this before, and i should have said, visually i dont like the pit guys on the grass, couldnt you have extended the brick texture along the 1st straight (keeping the haybales before them) and i miss a cliff texture in places along the winding road.

but aside from these, its similar to what i would have done and i think youve done a great job :bg:

Thanks for the idea, I already said that I'm not satisfied myself. Maybe I'll post an updated version of the update ( :D ) in the new year :)

It's already 2011, I think we can start the vote now?

Why? Voting is actually the least important part of this project IMHO, the goal is something other (at least one decent version update for each track). And some trackmakers still work on it. ;)

@ XYY: you're doing amazing job. :bg:

Yeah, and we should rename it to "Original Track Update Project 2011", not? :hiya: But, oh well, I need to make at least one track, but I've been really inactive in terms of creating tracks or cars, so I'm waiting for inspiration  Someday I'll finish my France.

Perhaps start fresh, with a whole new topic rather than keep on adding on to this one.

I've had a go at Tantelle,

I've tried to keep the GR feel, and there's a go-kart track instead of the off road circuit

Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!
