Aww yeah, sweet turbo power from 1987
Personally F1/87 is one of the best-looking turbo-era F1 cars, which is one of the reasons
I wanted to make it for Generally Well who doesn't like good-looking cars?
The car was arguably among the fastest ones in 1987, though it was plagued with bad reliability
that drained the championship hopes. Despite finishing only 13 of total 32
races (both drivers) in 1987, only in two occasions neither car finished in points, Berger never finishing worse
than 4th. Indeed, Berger won two last Grands Prix of the season, the latter being a 1-2 when Alboreto finished 2nd.
Three pole positions were gained with the car, all for Berger.
As usual, two cars included, one with the real-life livery and another with player's (0/4) colours.
The car uses the same "physics generation" as the March 881, so you can well race the cars against
each other and compare them.
(Despite some quite obvious differences, they're pretty close in pace, frankly)
Some performance data of the GR car:
Code: Select all
0–100 km/h 0.50 sec
150–300 km/h 2.35 sec
Top speed 327 km/h
