Yeah, I am. A bit busy right now, so if I can't finish it by, say friday, I'll give it to someone else. But I'll inform later. :bg:

Yeah sorry about that. :vsad: And I was the one who reminded people to "stick to the schedule" so this doesn't drag on like some previous projects.

I've had some unexpected health issues so I've only been working on the track here and there. I'll post it soon.
Again, apologies for the delay. :sorry:

Well hello, hello!

Took me a while, but alas here it is:

I definitely designed it to be driven counter clockwise, but works just as well clockwise. There's a hairpin at the bottom that takes you to the village/ historic city center/ market place, but the track could just as easily just continue straight ahead.

I'm not sure if I did the center piece maker a favor or (what is the opposite of a favor? :D) not, by leaving our shared border free of border walls for the track. A million thoughts about the track and things I wanted to do or should've done but better not mention them all. ;) Hmap wonky as per usual.

Thank you for your patience and thank you for including me in this project. :goodvibes:

I have to say I really like your square as well, aliman. Good job :woohoo: I'm feeling that the center square should be made next, and maybe scholl is a good contestant for this task? :)

I don't think so... it's either you or Scholl, whoever wants to go next, and whoever wants to make a piece can state it and go right ahead ;) At least that's how it used to be in the past several times

Here it is. Didn´t get anything done at work...

What´s a medieval towncenter without a church?
I feel some Baku-vibes going on.

It will be difficult to place the pits in the bottom right corner but I´m sure there´s a way.

Update:

I am continuesly frustrated with the weird changing of the map after editting it outside of Track Editor. Is there an ideal program for this? I'm no expert, so i kept trying it with old school Paint and such. I vaguely remember coming across a manual thingy about it on the forum, will look for that later today.

(and no, this is not an April Fools joke). :worried:

Modern Paint tends to have problems with GR lmap's limited palette. I'd suggest you to download Paint 98 or XP for this.

Yeah, it was that problem with modern Paint i guess, what happend was that as soon as I add the edited map to the .trk thingy it would turn all green into grey and such. I've got an empty weekend, i'll try to catch up with the delay.

Don't stress Txizzle! It took me a month to finish and the previous project like five YEARS! :D So if further problems rise, we're here to help! :)

Scholl, wow! That church is amazing and fits perfectly the style of the map. I have one criticism though. I absolutely hate it when I have to drive over the drawings, it completely breaks the illusion. So if we could switch the place of the church so that it doesn't cover the track that would be amazing. Is that possible?

Sorry for the late reply. I changed jobs and because I did most of my generally-stuff at work :? I can´t really do anything at the moment.
I know that driving over the church isn´t optimal. But I actually think it´s pretty cool. Maybe the FT-guy can change the whole church placement.

Maybe the FTer can remove some of the houses in my square, so that there is actually a market square or something like this behind the church? This way, the track could run behind the tower. however, some adjustments in the hmap will be neccessary, but I'm fine with that.
If there's not enough space there, the church could also be moved down by 10 - 20 px, if that helps. I believe that the entire house structures in scholl's square could as well be moved a little bit to generate more space for the church? :)

Hey folks, still sorry for the delay, i´ve had health problems (like non-CoVid but did end up at E.R.) f´ing it all up, still working on it. If others so desire i am willing to let someone else finish it. Either way i will also start a new one, so that a next time i join i will have my part done already and not delay it all.

Hope you're feeling better Txizzle! :)

I think you should finish the part. But if it takes another two months then we should just give it to someone else now. Or at least keep us updated, say weekly, so we know what's going on. Or ask us, if you need advice or tips. After all this is JOINT effort. ;)

I would really like to not stretch this project on and on. But to be fair the part you were left with seems super difficult with the pits and so on.

But if finishing your part is too much of a hassle or too much stress (I know I stressed so much over my part :(), then sure let someone else have it. Up to you buddy.

Okay, i'll be honest, stuff has been going down the drain here, personally, so i have no impetus left, so i will leave it to you folks. If I ever take part again, i will start one so it isn't endlessly delayed in the middle of it all.
