I've been lurking as usual. I came across James's and Lerond's posts mentioning that GeneRally works in Wine. I had never heard of Wine and am very interested in trying this. I currently use Mac OS X (10.6 Snow Leopard) and run Windows in a virtual machine, but it runs slow and GeneRally can be a bit choppy at times.
I've successfully installed Wine on my computer but I'm not sure what to do next to install the needed files to run GeneRally. Any suggestions?
You should be able to get it running fairly quickly using Wineskin (it's what I use when I'm playing on OS X). There should be a tutorial around somewhere to get you started with Wineskin Of course, it'll work through any Wine variant (e.g. Darwine, etc.) but I don't really have much experience using other variants of Wine on OS X
Here you will find the complete Wine wrapper for the latest version, made using WineSkin for Mac. Simply download it on your Mac, unzip, double click, play Generally!
