Re: Generally Racers Forum banner election
Testing of the 2nd now. IMHO the flag is not perfect, the blur on right is too different from the blur on the left edge. The cars are turned back like was elected and IMHO good change.
Edit: Thanks to Rudy updated again, what do you think now, guys?

The cars look very good indeed, and like Ivo said: the flag would look nicer if the blur would be the same as on the left side of the flag.
In my opinion this means the blur should be more like an upcoming mist in the morning.
At the moment it looks more like the city of London in a B&W movie from Edgar Wallace.
Rudy, you're doing a great job, very professional.

Rudy, did you change something about the banner?
Like stretching the flag, and removing some of the white "mist"?
Or do I need some new glasses?

No glasses needed. The white mist was "Mist". (Haha!) Ivo told me to remove it. Flag is actually not stretched. But it might appear to be cause I used motion blur to make the flag fade out.

Brilliant, TLD Now we taught the forum 2 German words. "Augenkrebs" and "Mist". Pretty useful!

[off-topic] : There are still a few (more or less) useful words left:RudyOosterndijk wrote:Brilliant, TLN Now we taught the forum 2 German words. "Augenkrebs" and "Mist". Pretty useful!
What to think about:
- Dunkelziffer (Googletranslate says Unecorded, but it means the number of things/people just left out of the statistics, because they're not known, or not been reported)
- Ballastexistenzen (Very ugly word!)
- Funkenmariechen = Majorettes
- Blitzkrieg (no translation needed)
And there are the words like Rucksack, and Kindergarten, which are been used in some parts of America, if I remember well.
[Back On-Topic again)
I hope you leave the banner as it is, looks very good.

Good to hear that the banner is ok now. Thanks.
I'll send you a PM with a comment on your choice of German words, unless someone here is interested
