Yeah I was surprised to see no pit when I load the track. I thought I could make 2 laps with new tyres...

Well, MD did have it this way in the previous tournament (VCoSA)

Yes; because having the same settings for the race and the HL simplifies things: there are two events per week and we would be constantly changing the settings back and forth, which could result in a lot of mistakes (and thus BOPs). So even if tire wear is not ideal in the HL session, it has advantages from another point of view. Of course, you have only one lap for an 'awesome' time, but if you miss that chance, the tires are still good enough in the next laps for an 'OK' time, I think.

I have been thinking on akouk's proposal and the problem at all. What was in my opinion is: you can save tyres and make a tactic in 5 laps. And yes as mizzamar said so: the calendar is crowded and it's better not to change the settings almost every day, haha! And BTW real F1 cars wear their tires in qualif.

So anyways: from the next round there will be pit crew! You can change tyres cause real F1 cars can so. And it would cause some really-really interesting and exciting tactic-matches

Phew, the first event is over. I had similar times in Q1 and Q2 and I was faster in Q3 (but far from my personal best). So it would be good to get in Q3 (I know I need an unfair amount of luck), otherwise my best lap would be lost.

I made quite good Q3, very average Q2 and in Q1 I pressed bad button so no screen and replay. But it's no problem I hope, because I likely didn't enter the top 10.
