Race done. Strange thing: In my practice race I had no overtakings, because I passed all AIs while they were pitting. I expected the same in the login and I had a good pace but the AI decided to pit earlier. No luck... This resulted in time loss in the 2nd part of the race, I was far form my personal best.

Race done with my best result, even better than on practice sessions. I expect many PoInTs.

Ouch. That was bad.
I lost 6 seconds from my best which I wastn't even very pleased with.

I had a little trip in the sandbox caused by the same problem that Mizzamar had with the AI's.

Finally we have results for the first race! Check them here!
But for the replay you need to wait a bit. I'm waiting for the .trk files of Buka, TuomoH and JWong. Because after fixing the bugs I only lest the correct versions on my PC. But in one or two days they will be available!

Even check the drivers championship and the constructors standings.

And I have to say that I am very happy now! Despite the bugs, problems and complications it was a nice week You all did great job so I learnt a lot - and I hope I can keep learning in the future.
Congrats for everyone!

But BTW there were a few problems again:
- 2 drivers still used the incorrect settings - as it still my fault they got penalized but not that hard
- some drivers rode the line in the pit-lane and some hit the pit crew (not in one pit!) - those of these guys got a soft penality so
Please guys, watch out for these things in the future!

And finally: you can login for the Australian GP's qualif. Deadline is Sunday 23:59:59 (GMT) - but with communication it can be elongated due to the previous round's delay. (And as I promised: there is pit!)

I´m sorry I didn´t race, I have cold nowadays (there actually is cold epidemy in czech) and I really can´t concentrate for a whole race hope I get better before deadline of australian qualifying .

But it affected mine... So now I guess I should not use the settings of the pack but change them to the settings described in the rules section, am I right? Tire 6, fuel 5, mass 75, damage 20?

I'm actually fairly surprised as my race was poor. Congratulations to Lorenzo. Outstanding. Nothing more to say about the race as I havn't seen the replays.

About the Australian GP: The track has "safepit kerbs" that really slow you down and it's hard not to lineride as there is a line in the pitlane...

that is classic, I remember one race in F3000 where were snow-ice kerbs and cars were terribly slow on these.......just relase repaired track ASAP

You're not oblige to use the kerbs... It's the same for everyone...

Because it's not funny. If something is not funny in GR competition, it's a good reason to abandon it.

IMO, those kerbs aren't a problem at all. It's funny to drive on this track. (even if I'm a lot slower than you)

This competition is hard to organize and we are already one day late, I don't think it's a good idea to be late again with the calendar. But well, I'm not the organizer...

Already raced on this track with safe pit car (in my first season in GRC) and it was great school of ideal line - on some kerbs you need to cut and on some kerbs not (its slow-down element is stronger than earnings of bit shorter line). Good driver will find it, I think now it can stay as it is (too late to change). However I agree, mix of safe pits and track with oil kerbs together is not ideal solution for compo.

Congrats to podium. BTW Renault looks strong. A STR has a point. Next time I hope with Dan too and 3 good races.
