[cir] [ovl] [mic] Rivears

Post by XYY »

Hello everyone  ,
As we had a track contest on Planet GeneRally, preetzertrain and me decided to create the track Rivears (in the style of 1960's US road racing courses), and it's heavily based on Riverside International Raceway and a bit on Sears Point Raceway (hence the name). We want to remind to Riverside which was replaced by a stupid shopping centre
The zip includes four versions of the track: Club (used for Can-Am races), International (full course), National (used for NASCAR races) and Oval (makes a nice fullscreen track at most resolutions).
Being a contest, the track was divided into 4 triangles (like in the latest JE amateurs track). Preetzertrain made the left and the right triangle, I made the upper and the lower ones.
Hopefully you'll enjoy this track, and don't forget to rate it and leave a comment! :)

It looks great. I like little oval circuit and bottom left a lot. Hmap and lmap are great.

The oval is superb, I can't get enough of it. :yummy:

As far as the other layouts go, they're good, but I don't like the shape of the bottom corner, I don't know why. :worried: The track surroundings are visually very appealing, except for the long booth structures, they somehow don't fit very well in.

You two make a good team, are there any other projects on the horizon? ;)

:) Yes.. you make this to seems to be easy hehe. This one seemd better than your Calderilli. I see it's all very good, the only think seemed d not to fit was that single tree right in the middle of the track! About your dithering it's quite like many other works people do here, i don't know a certain technique to make it this way, to myself it's good tough.
Try other tracks by myself: Agrestina -Tristar - Petra

Maybe the bump on inside in its 1s half? It disturbs me very much, when I come by the stock car bypass. :) I like most the club layout. Impressive track guys. :bg:
