sartalas: although too late for that and I think XYY has mentioned, the track is a little poorly mapped, but the margin of error: D. However, wait until you spend Imola.
Niko K: the track is very nice :). I'm Waiting for the final version.

Hello! Perhaps you forgot my first track - Rockfield. That's good, because I made a revised version, and the route to the seventies. Although it is not the end, because they will route e.g., of the year today, I praise the current result: D

Yonnie: I did not forgot :P , but just one last thing, those muddy fields don't look good to me, you should make something more clear (less dirty) there, even just sand stripes on grass may create a better field-like texture. By now, everything else looks good, way better than the first version :bg:

Not bad but the 70 version rather feels like it's from the 90s :D but anyway, some general advice (no matter if 70s or 90s):
- The pedestrian bridges before corner 4, after corner 5 and at the last corner look stupid and useless. Do they actually serve a purpose? :sorry:
- Improve the field texture (as mentioned by Otto)
- Just sandy runoffs with a sandy path behind the wall isn't maybe the best and best visible color difference. I suggest using some mud or tarmac.

I think the lmap cars look a bit weird and flat, but it's probably no issue when you're racing and keeping your eyes on the road, just wanted to point it out.

The fields have been corrected. But the end result (eg removal of pedestrian bridges) will show when you give screens all versions

XYY, the pedestrian bridges not always must be pedestrian bridges same like light often isn't light. For example if it's meant as a gate into track area, I think it can look rather good.

Hi all good trackmakers. I'm making my second track and need help! What I should do with terraced area? I want it there but it looks terrible. What I should do to fill the empty space? Something what should be changed or add? Any ideas?

@ iskopanlo: paddock with access road to circuit?

@ Hiawatha: a gate for the tarmac road in the fence and then turning the road to right to be parallel with the fence? And then between the road and circuit some stuff making the closest neighbourhood of the track but rather related (by orientation of e.g. access paths) to the road?

iskopanlo: ivo is right. But I would strongly suggest removing the large grandstand area by the Pits on the infield. This is limiting your options, particularly if you are adding a paddock. Do this but add a spectator bank on the inside of turns 3, 4, 5. Not a massive one just enough.

Also one other suggestion. A lot of the corners are pretty uninspiring and sharp. I would make turn 2, where the pit exit meets the track, a much faster more rounded corner. The same with the penultimate corner too.

Not dead yet, slowly progressing in 3 new tracks:

-Vancouver, Custom Layout on Deviantart
-Velociudad Speedcity, new circuit in Zarate, Argentina, which I also happen to enjoy the layouts (I enjoyed the old one more, though)
-Butterfly Creek, the Generally version of a 3d track I created for an online league here in brazil

Any inputs? :D

Ps: I hate bridges, can't seem to place them correctly...

Ps²: Haven't made the alternative routes yet, will get to it soon

Hi,
I have some things to say about the kerbs:

Black = Useless Kerb, I would delete it
Blue = Longer Kerb, Maybe make it longer, it´s not important.
Pink = Totaly useless kerb, delete it completly (if you want)
Yellow = a strange one that is maybe in the main trajectory.

Otherwise, it lokks realy good

It look´s reely good!

But, the pire on the left is too long I think, maybe you could keep the Half? The river don´t look harmonic with it :)
I can say that I won´t be able to drive on it because I don´t think I will I will make the difference between road & city, simply because it´s very well done. :)

What program do you use for the layout? The corners looks so smooth! :)

@ areen, I hope the huge office-block building in top-middle is just rough 1st version of an idea, because what's on screenshot is far away below the outstanding level of detail everywhere else on the map. :) And I'd suggest to not use sand runoff in bottom left, if a runoff, then rather e.g. parking with deleted lining of slots. :yummy:
