Ah yes, that's right !
(Half a year already ?
)
Ok, my idea was to create a contest, a track restoration project where a track in a bad condition was given to Generally International Forum's members. All the community of the forum was able to restore step by step this track. How ? By racing on it to gain money (figuratively !). The racers who beat a record were able to restore something to the track (clean the track removing some rocks or bushes, or make the paintings on the tarmac, ...). There were 7 rounds or 7 races and 3 places (1st, 2nd and 3rd) by race to restore the tracks.
But...
Racing was very restraining for me and for the racers because I was forced to put a GMT Time for the races and afraid, I left my project all of a sudden...
So I want to change the rules like I said 2 posts earlier to make my track restoration project easier to plan and easier to the members who want to participate.
I will quote my post :
But this time, I want to change the rules :
There will be no more races (must set a GMT Time and that's the reason I left).
Just rounds and anyone can choose what he wants to do to restore the track. No competition, just community build.
Or like the idea of Otto Wilson, make a contest that all can participate and restore the track and vote to the best track restorer...
Or any idea you have with this project !
So... are you interesting again and what kind of restoration you think it's the best for you ?
