I just wan't you to be careful.
In Melbourne we saw drivers even going on the wrong side of the skunk tyre without penalty and several cases of jumping over the skunks to gain a lot of time.

Second race and again both Ferrari's driver in points. Decent performance, let's hope we can keep two cars in top 10 on Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari and one day have score the podium.

Let's hope stewards will see all attempts of shortcutting in qualifying sessions this time, because they didn't at Albert Park (clear cutting at corner 11, visible in replays of top 6 drivers).

Nice!

You are now a tied 27th in the all-time PGR F1 table with 19 points (points scale of 2011/2012), 14 races (best result: 4th, MAS 2012), 12 qualifyings (best result: 9th, JPN 2011). On the average you gain 3,31 positions on race day.

Another one: Alonso scores the first hattrick (Pole, Win, FL) since TuomoH in ITA 2011.

I can fight for 6th place, only slowly 16,17 lap prevented me. Congrats Alonso big win. 10sec penalty Mr.J? Only for 1 place higher? Now very bad track ;/

10 seconds for one starting position seems to be a hard penalty, especially since the
time-difference would be probably very much smaller in the race.

However in this series a Qualifying is executed to determine starting positions.
Therefore better starting position can't be calculate against a few seconds more in race time.
This would make the Qualifying worthless. A penalty must give strongly more loss as the possible advantage.

A wrong starting position is an unambiguous mistake, that will be noticed immediately,
differently than cutting, where it is more difficult to find a fault.

Otherwise with no or less penalty I can hear the protests from other drivers seeing two drivers starting from pole ...

If Joesoap doesn't appear for a third straight time I will replace with someone who will be at least active. Currently scaramanga and puttz seem to be free agents and I may talk with them for possible joining in the team.

I understand majortom. :bg:
I made a silly stupid mistake but I'll try to make up for it in Imola. ;)

I was writing to Puttz one week before season started, and he wrote, that he didn't want, but he maybe changes his mind. And McLaren has free seat already too.

i've done my qualifs but i'm not really satisfied with it, i reached a 15.5x while practising and now i'm almost 0.2 worse than that :ouch:

also i hope that the files arrived correctly, because this time the login tool worked for me except in the end, where the tool freezed when i had to press the 'finish session' button. but in general both firefox and chrome still tend to reject the applet.

Surprisingly I enjoyed that short-cutting paradise. By the way, I hope any illegal maneuvers will be penalized this time.

Solid lap from me. Atleast I can't go much faster than that. ;)
Missed the apex in Tosa a bit and went a tiny bit wide putting a wheel on the grass.
Driving alone it's a great track! :bg: With AI's it could get tricky though. :misch:
I'll have to give Bernie a call and tell him to keep it in the calendar.

About the tracks IMO we have four fun tracks in a row now. :yummy: Even though Monaco is so tricky.

i was thinking this exact thing, even because the circuit becomes really narrow and difficult for overtakings with all the five AI's on track! i was hoping to do a better qualify than the previous races for that reason, but i think i will start from P6 anyway ehehehe

monaco with all that walls intrigues me a little, too :hammer:

Results PGR F1 2012 Round 03
San Marino GP - Imola - Qualifying

Pole to Alonso with 0.01 Gap before Mr.J - Congrats to both :goal:

Replay of fastest 6 drivers: link

You find your Startingposition for the Race on the right site of each row P1-P6
Drivers without Quali start from P6.

This time difficult decision about cutting. Track gives to much possibility.
All drivers minimum 1 time nearly beside the track, so no penalty.
Warning to GR Driver for cutting about sunk tyres. Next time penalty.
Normally I would take second fast lap, but it was also 15.42

Oh, came on, it's actually very simple - someone did or did not cut.

Rules are very clear about it. It seems that there are 2 groups of drivers - 1st, drivers cutting with premeditation as we can see in replays from last session. And 2nd group - drivers that are driving bit more careful because they know what is forbidden by the rules.

I participate in PGRF1 for fun and I believe most of us do too. But it stops being a fun when you are at low position because some drove against the rules without any punishment.

Please, be more restricting in Spain as I believe there will be even more cuts than at Imola.

I think it would be easier/better putting cones inside the corners. At least you can't jump/drive over them :P

If someone get a penalty, because he chose the wrong palette, than someone who leave the track with more than two tires, should get a penalty, too.
