Track Ideas, W.I.P. Previews and Teasers v2

Gravel, tarmac, snow. Whatever the surface, you'll find it here.

The section left of S/F straight looks great, but the hairpin on right with preceding bend (and maybe also first turn) could be bit more interesting. Also pit exit is bit too short, maybe it could continue and rejoin the track rather on the following straight after first corner with runoff (something like you made at Virerios with pit entrance). Overall much better than your previous track. :bg:

Looks good. :bg: But the track needs a rather extreme Hmap (banked corners andd such...)
And I noticed that the corners don´t change their radius in themselves.
Maybe you should try some opening/closing corners. (if you know what I mean)

Here´s my progress on Autumn Ring. My second favourite Track from the GT-series. :hyper:
I had to alter the layout a bit in the last section because otherwise the flat bridge wouldn´t have fitted...
What do you think?

Nice :bg: Are you going to do both layouts? The short layout is probably one of my favorite tracks in the whole game, especially to take some of the lesser cars out for a race.

Probably a street circuit, only this time it's based on one of the malls in my country! :D

This course is going to be a high-speed course with a mix of technical turns. I don't know if the road cones placements are good or bad... How do you think about this course guys?

And yes, all the grass are to be replaced with tarmac (unless there's another job to do with them)...

something different than what I usually make (if I'd actually release a damn thing). Been years since I gave cliffs a try, don't think it looks that bad. :)

Progress goes quicker than I had expected. Never really tried a WS200 track before but think its coming along nicely.

Looks good. But I think you should get rid of that armco barrier between the road and the cliff. It´s not necessary and doesn´t look too good.
And please remove those round sunk tyres from the inside of the corners. The track looks narrow enough anyway.

Looks very good indeed. I agree with Scholl about the armco barrier between the road and the cliff but with regard to sunk tyres, I think they are needed - maybe a bit further away from the road though.

Sometimes a stone or a bush can serve as well as sunk tyres and look slightly less unnatural in road courses. :-)

Also I second that opinion about inner armco wall.

I know this is not that much perfect, but worth showing the layout of Kinshasa street circuit in Congo DR from 1958(when was known as Leopoldville)

My Leopoldville is a vintage [rwl] circuit, but my plan is to make it to look like 2013 circuit.

Enna Pergusa is a fairly small circuit. You could cut straights and still have the Pergusa feeling. More importantly, the chicanes are easily straight-through drives, not the case of the true Pergusa.

I have to ask you the following question - Is something wrong with my street track?

Alright, so the first time I showed you my latest work, there aren't feedbacks. Yet, I decided to proceed right away with the course's layout; now as you can see the track has a layout, but the only problem right now is the placement of concrete walls and haybales. Are they good combination or is there another alternative for the walls?

PS: If you recognize this mall and went there, you might be just like me... :p

I'm calling it quits on track making - this top quality WIP completly killed me from making tracks. I'll never be a good trackmaker like Areen or any other trackmaker here.

You know what, check out the first few tracks each trackmaster made, ok? That is proof that almost anybody can improve to become good or even great :). Don't give up so easily! ;).
