*Sigh* If only... This is a fictional [rwl] set in my hometown of Weymouth as the roads were a few years back, on the south UK coast. (Any chance of making a new tag? E.g. [fwl], "fictional world location"?) The track is quite narrow, as it would be in the real world, although I also messed up the world size a bit too...
Two tracks: Circuit and an Autocross-style track.

Why does everything look great...? I am speechless... *drooling*
Yes, I'm serious. Nice track and environment you got there

This is actually really good.
Even if there are some "weird" things about it.
Like the Lmap objects. All of them are too big and a bit out of perspective but for some reason it still looks good. Kind of comic-style.
And the oil/black almost everywhere. It´s strange but somehow it fits and could be seen as shadows.
(did you export the sattellite-image to paint?)
So even if the track is far from perfect, I really like it. It´s not another one of those generic snake editor tracks...
It has a very unique feeling and style.
4,5/5! Great job!

It is imo a perfect example of where spectators are supposed to be placed at best though. And on top of that, the atmosphere looks rather neat also. Don't worry about the WS too much by the way.Scholl wrote: So even if the track is far from perfect (..)

Thanks for the nice comments guys (and the drool ). Yes, I screened-dumped a Google maps satellite image into GIMP, then applied the Generally palette using dithering I think.
