yes, I wanted to make [rwl]. Its SD-file used F1-Gate.com's Spa map.

Edit & add comment:
The track was made more wider, and the pit. (add, step 2.gif)

@MASA: This Spa-Map don't look like the "right" Spa-Track at many points.
I don't know, if you will change the layout, but this is the track, I found on Wikipedia. And there are many differences:

Working:
- The circuit entrance tunnel
- More palm trees
- A cliff

To-do:
- An extra parking lot on the bottom right portion, presumably for spectators
- Landmap cars
- Pit building fix

Any ideas on the entrance tunnel? :)

The final chicane is really wierd on that map MASA. Its sort of between the old pre 2002 version and the current. Pkus the long back straight is well, not straight

Hi again, about year, when I was not playing Generally, but it again catch me :D
I am doing desert circuit, in GR-style. Any ideas how make desert nicer? It looks for me boring :(
TODO: Kerbs, of course
cracks on asphalt(maybe)
some evading zones on curves.
TO FIX: Stands on higher part of circuit
Just used Paint, Snakeditor and of course, Track Editor :D
Any ideas what to do? Should I do some oasis? Fell free to critize,.. I am just a noob trackmaker.

Well, I really found it adorable. Name? Well, I was going to send a track called "Ruta" to the forum, but I really decided to abort the idea, for many reasons. So, how about "Ruta"? (And yes, Ruta is the same name of that cutie Lithuanian who kicks lots of a's in swimming).

Really eccentuate (sp?) the curves marinator. Almost every kink is non existent at the moment

@MASA: Why sad? Very nice, but maybe move higher hmap on Kemmel straight, and rotate PoV like on your first screenshot from game. Only thing makes me sad is pit park.. Maybe the pit layout make closer to the main layout - you see on picture which side of pits are using in racing (anyway in F1), so maybe make second side of pits and make them on this side? I hope you'll find some way :)
@Np2003: Wow, what a improvement! However, I don't know does the houses are necessary, beacuse it isn't accomplishes its purpose. And mix more the edges of road with sand, make there more dithering maybe too. Try and experiment a little, train to make experience :)
@marass: You've many work to do on this track. On left-top make this layout more to the edge of square - you miss the potential of track, because you waste the place. I don't know what style you want to do, but if you know what, look on track with that style and try to make add something from yourself. And this stnds are placed bad. Work at this a little. Start places you can make on part of layout parallel to pits.
@marinator: make the layout a bit (a bit!) more narrow - this track had over 14 kilometers in real life, it must be visible! Also try to make layout more detailed, because track wasn't almost straight line with some oval turns. Try to make it like on this pic. And remember about the surroundings! If you want to make it very good, make it slow and precisely :) PS - I want to make this track too (but not in the same time as you) so maybe there will be some rivalry ;)

The PoV was changed. The mount would be made around right-side. And where is the highest H-map position?? I'd like to know it.. Kemmel straight?? or Molmedy??

More one, about the Kerb colors: White & Red? or Yellow & Red?

Edit: F1's the Pits.. Hmmmm.. :really:

I'm not sure, but I think the highest point of the map is Kemmel straight and Malmedy. The lowest point should be Stavelot.
The difference between those points is 100 meters.
And the Kerbs are Yellow and Red.

I googled the Spa pic. That are Highest?? and Lowest??

Anyway, SD is simple for modify of H-map. That really helps..

The highest point is ending after Malmedy. The track falls a little bit on the straight to Rivage. Otherwise, the lowest zone is correct marked.
But the H-map of Spa is very violent. I think you can use all what the TrackEditor got. So, I mean the highest point on the track should be the highest point as possible in TrackEditor, to simulate as good as it gets the "Ardennes Rollercoaster" of Spa.

Personally, I am not a big fan of these asphalt run-off areas in a desert track and the soft walls along the stands at the bottom of the circuit look a tad out of place, I reckon. Generally speaking however, the soft walls appear to be fine and I for one would not mind using those.
