Exactly. :bg: At this time, Goodyear was the actual tyre brand. :)

Okay,
name five former australian raceways which are not only inactive, but also not in a condition to be raced (removed track sections, bulldozen, etc).

Oran Park (FFS!), partially Sandown, Amaroo Park, Calder Park Thunderdome, Aspendale (and Surfers Paradise International Raceway, as +1. I'm not sure in Thunderdome, it might be still in use)

Oran Park is shut? Hadn't realized/had forgotten that! Crying shame, that track was fantastic.

If the Thunderdome isn't shut/doesn't count:

Oran Park, Longford, Amaroo Park, Warwick Farm, Canberra

Here we got to a silly situation :weep:
Oran park is down for two years already :taped: Sadly they are removing it. Shame on those :talkth: but yeah it's right
Sandown partially can't really count because the track is still driveable, just in a different way. You wouldn't call Spa as an inactive track just because it doesn't use the old section as well, would you? :D
Amaroo Park, Surfers Paradise, Longford, Warwick farm and Aspendale are right
Calder Park is active I think, so no.
I don't think Canberra can count because the tarmac is in a condition in which you could race it. ;)

I think Herbal should get the point because he answered earlier, although Luke got more of them right.
Btw what I would have guessed: Lowood, Gnoo Blas, Longford, Warwick, Surfers Par.

Canberra surely can count, as although most of the tarmac is intact, there is no way you can actually race it? Particularly if Surfer's Paradise counts

I have no objections to Herbal having the point, however.

There are two surfers Paradises: The International circuit (this) and the Gold Coast Street circuit (this)
Of course at Canberra you can't race. But I don't think that you would count Adelaide street circuit as an inactive track just because it's not prepared for being raced. I know that it's not exactly the same. But as Herbal answered earlier.... ;)

Adelaide is still used: Canberra is not. And I said I had no issue with him getting the points, did I not? ;)

That's why I said it's not exactly the same  And I just wanted to explain the Surfers Paradise related issue, I know that you accept my decision, so let's wait for Herbal to post a new question :)

An easy question: how many tracks (with names) were featured in F1 from France, when and how many races were held there?

Tracks are right, but times are not true. One race is missing, and I can say as a hint, that it wasn't held under French GP banner.

One race in May, big 'money' - lottery (I don't want to specify the currency as it would direct you too much :D) conspiracy and quite weird story behind it.

I want to know - year, race, circuit and what happened :).

HINT: Old story.

Keeping with the classic theme:

When was the first World Championship for Automobiles held?

Championship refers to a series of races.

As far as I know there's never been a championship by that name. If you go a little bit more generally... hmm... how about 1953?

Sorry to bump this thread, but this one is so cool... can I begin?

If yes, the question is: Minardi in 2001 used the PS01/PS01B, right? What was the name of the engine? The name of the engine: what does that name stands for? What was the real engine?
