Question: Why is everyone entering bonus predictions that are incompatible with their race predictions? How many points separating 1st from 2nd is determined by where you think Vettel and Alonso will finish, right? Or am I misunderstanding the question?

@ACM, There's two people who have put a different bonus guess than what would be the real result. Not exactly "everyone".
Also, as an hint for everyone, don't put 165 or 125 as your guesses, as those will give you an automatic lose. With quick check other values between 120-170 are valid.

Grosjean
Webber
Hamilton
Alonso
Hulkenberg
Rosberg
Massa
Bottas
Kovalainen

Well considered 1nsane!

ACM; it is to play it safe, if one of the drivers doesnt finish where you expect, you may still get a chance for the 3 bonus points. Having the same bonus as your prediction is 9 points or 0.

Webber
Vettel
Grosjean
Hamilton
Rosberg
Alonso
Hulkenberg
Perez
Button
Sutil

Sorry its taken a few days to get these final results up.

Congratulations to FRUKIScze who rounded off the season with his second win. But with a third place (despite being the only one to not pick Vettel as the winner), I scored enough points to beat Harrii to the title.

Many thanks to all 23 of you that took part throughout the year, and special thanks to ACM, cocney, Harrii, 1nsane & DuklaLiberec who made predictions in every race!

I've uploaded the file that I use to track the results, theres some statistics in there too which may interest a few.

I'll be sure to run it again next year, maybe with a couple of rule tweaks here and there, I have a few in mind. I hope you will all take part again!

Cheers, BBA

Last but not least me too ;). Unfortunately I haven't been as lucky as last year when it comes to victories, but hey, a 4th place is still a decent result, considering I took part in every race. Wish me luck next season :)

Hell yeah, another win :bsmile:

Congrats to everybody! Congrats to BBA, who won :bg:
BBA, what about a leaderboard of average score per game? :wink2: it could be great! :bg:

Hi everyone, the new game will start on Sunday, but I would like some feedback on last years, and any possible changes.

Personally I would like to increase the points for a spot on guess from 3 to 4. Leaving one-off as 2 points and top-10 as 1 point.

Do we perhaps want a double point final round?

Any other ideas? but nothing too complicated! :bg:

I would rather stay for 3 points on target. But something like one joker will be awesome. As you wrote...Double points, but everyone can say, on which round he/she wants to use it :bg:

Heh, well... Maybe instead of giving double points, why not make the final round so you guess the whole field. :P Gives essentially double the points if you just guess double the amount of drivers correctly.

Giving one more point for the spot on guess might be a good idea, as last season it was easy to just lame it out and put the sure top ten where ever on the list and they'd get that one point every time if they just didn't retire. Even two points was easy as they had pretty clear spots through the season in the grid. Okay, this year is propably going to be different, but still, a clear spot on guess should be more notable.

It would be cool not to have a double points in the final round but to guess all 22 positions in Abu Dhabi. Current system is great.

For sure more points on GoS, person with most of them should be the overall winner and current pointing system causes something else.

Precisely, I had the 7th highest amount of Spot on Guesses last year and won. You TH had more than me and was 14th as you missed a few rounds.

Perhaps for one race only this is a good option, but I'm very reluctant to do this for all rounds in the future.

Any other opinions?

I think Insane thought about that only for Abu DHabi race.

Indeed, but doing it for all 19 is suggested nearly every year.

Yeah, use it for only one race. Having it for the whole year would be an overkill and would propably mean that less people want to go through the full season. Especially with a year like this where you have just no idea what's going to happen for the first 9 races or so.
