Very positive impression from week 1 - no damage, some may say no speed, but hey, safety first ;)

Both races were my best attempts in class, so I looking forward to see results - it will be possible to see replays without knowing the results, right Ivo?

Sorry for the confusion, I was just remarking on my inability to keep my very expensive car out of the wall... :D

Please excuse me as I'm going to vent on my performance for this first week race. What's hard for me to do is racing while your mom told you to do home chores first. I can't even ignore my home chores but today IS the deadline of the first week's race. As a result, I TOTALLY screwed my GT race. Everything was so faulty for me at the start, that in the race I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO FINISHES SECOND BEHIND THE LEADING AI. I know that this would grant me not only a last place but also +16 seconds gap from whoever is ahead me. I don't have problems with the Touring Car race, but still... The condition goes worse when trying to send my race. Somehow my internet connection go haywire as the upload doesn't go as it should. The upload then stops unexpectedly so once again I have to use my phone's 3G connection.

Definitely not meant to act like a whiny teen who's got a first world problem, but I have to vent for my unacceptable bad lucks. If you want to consider my late submit please do so; I've suffered lots of bad lucks today, whether to add pain to my sorrow it's all your decision.

It's okay, I raced the second race with the AI's having the wrong cars so there is probably zero chance I got my race in on time also. I also suffered damage in the first race with a few laps to go, stuffing that one up and the AI on the second race went to a complete stop on the straight, causing me to hit it on the last lap. Oh well.

Just finished my tries, and well, I've rather followed the locution "Slow and steady wins the race". IMO my times are easy to surpass, but then except for a small crash at GTs in the last half lap (and as such, no pits were needed), had no big issues. Let's hope then, that everyone will find themselves in the barrier, except for me... :liar:

I kind of had many little mistakes so no big hopes for high positions in any of both races :D.

That touring car race was about the least fun event I've had to drive in my GR career. Mostly because of the cars.

I couldn't resists to the chance of exposing us to such nice contrast between overpowered rear-wheel drive and underpowered front-front cars. After all, with 4 races on identical track, what would be the point, if all the cars (plus bikes) would feel same? ;) Pity you didn't enjoy it, Haruna, I hope most of people did. ATM 19 drivers raced, still about two hours remain to deadline. :)

BTW I screwed up both my races. :shake3:

I know that feel... *hugs*

Trained intensively for F3 and Bikes atm. They're both fun to drive and I'm enjoying them, but the bikes are what I like the most. I'm thinking the next week's races will be very competitive...

Sorry for my allcaps on the submission btw...

I couldn't race this week :(

Actually i'm having a pretty crazy week at college, cause its end of semester and thingas are VERY tense around here... And all i was thinking about was "Damn! i don't get any break to practice and race!"

It's a pity Luiz Felipe. :-(

Now the deadline of 1st week is over (so is sign-up), results will be today in the late evening, I hope. Edit: sorry, too tired, need to watch gt3 replays once more tomorrow.

Login is now updated for second week consisting of Macau F3 Grand Prix and Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix. :yummy: Deadline for your races is on the 8th Dec. 2013. :)

Sorry but I must resign from Macau Grand Prix. I missed my favourite races (GT and WTCC) and now I won't be able to start in F3 and Moto...

So here are the results of first week of Macau Grand Prix. 2013!

Overall 20 drivers took a part, so the racing was very interesting through whole depth of the field. Enjoy the replays of the Macau GT Cup 2013 and the Guia Race of Macau 2013. :yummy:

Ivaneurope is missing unfortunately, because was bit hasty in sending of files and sent no replays and wrong trks, so DNF (due lack of replays) and 2 drivers (scorpio and Rendy) were a bit late with files delivery because malfunction of e-mail provider and slow connection respectively), only warning seemed enough for this time.

The full results are available here, in spoiler (as above Kuba asked for :-)), congratulations to fastest guys and good luck to all in 2nd week, in Formula 3 and Motorcycle GPs. :bg:

Well that was quite bad :D. I wish I could make at least one point in the other half :D. I got real slow while I was not racing at all....

Looks like I have taken lessons from Nick Heidfeld with being close to points but never being able to score points... :headbang:

SECOND PLACE BEHIND THE ALL-INVINCIBLE ALONSO!?!?

Yes, to be fair, he still had a pair of outstanding runs, but god damn!

I was optimistic when I do my races but not that optimistic
In second race I watched the drama that I be betwen 2-5
and in the end I lost podium for 0.05
Congratulations to Alonso and all other on podium

Congrats to Alonso for a double victory and the other guys on the podium. :)

I thought my GT3 race would be substantially worse than that. The TC I have to admit I didn't practice much so I'm shocked there too. Going to have to try for a podium spot now. :D

Thanks guys.To be honest I was surprised with the GT3 victory because my race was far from perfect :o
On the other hand TC was the race where everything went perfect for me, mostly the traffic.
I was very lucky to be on the right place in the right time and losing minimum time to overtake AI's. :goal:
And now F3 and MGP. I must say that's going to be very tricky to switch between two categories.
Congrats to my teammate for a very good result in both races.
Good luck to all :goodvibes:

Yep, the AI cost a lot of time on this circuit. I learned that the hard way. :ouch:

The F3/MGP combination feels like a challenge but it should be great.

*panted*

I'm happy with my run this time. Even though I've wrecked "a bit" both my F3 and Honda bike, my run is, well... let's say they're fast enough to boost my confidence that this time I won't be in the bottom position again just like that horrific week 1 attempt of mine... -_-

All those trainings and crashes are finally paid. In short, I've done both runs all better than my training ones, though it IS a challenge because you need to be as calm as a Zen. Trust me, I have difficulties traversing those narrow corners while trying to hit all apexes of those turns with correct lining.

So, Alonso for the second week victory? I could send him a birthday cake if he won ALL the races :p
