I assume that extra part is a short layout? Just because its an extension doesnt mean it shouldnt be rounded in the corners too. Make the join less sharp.

I hope you understand what I mean, its late, i'm tired and my vocabulary is failing me.

Yep, I understood you :) I'm tired a bit, too, and 40% of this what you see on pic I did today.
However, if other things about track are OK, I correct faults, done some things, and I release track this week :)

YoNnie, next to what BBA mentions maybe also try to add something more than lights and houses in the urban area (eventually you can also work a bit with rotations of houses and their combinations). And of course little bit zoom in, please. Otherwise it looks good! :bg:

My Bergstrecke, little forgot by me, but in last 3 days i worked at him.
I have 3 questions:
1. How it looks right now?
2. Can I download cliff texture somewhere? If yes, where?
3. What add in top middle/right?

Your track looks great :bg: .I think in top middle/right should be meadow. You also should add some fences instead of posts, IMO.
Sorry for my English

@YonNie: Cliff texture can be found here or here. But don't forget to also check out Darjo's trackmaking tutorials (which can be found here). In one of those videos he also shows how to make neat cliffs :)

not every space needs to be filled ;)

Where you have in the bottom left an open area, why not keep on at the top right. just put a couple of bushes and a tree behind the fence. Don't forget about using stones.

The track reminds me of Lake Afton racetrack if you manage to find any photos or videos, you could take some inspiration from that

Finally come up with another layout... or two. Couldn't decide which is better so why not have both?

Crowella, your track reminds me Dijon a little :D. I think you can do short and long layout :)

First guess and someone got the circuit that inspired it :D

I'll probably make it with three layouts. The long one, the short one and the "historic" but I'm not too sure whether to remake the circuit in a historic style for that one. Maybe if I get time. :goodvibes:

Double post but kind of a bump.

Trying to go for a "historic" Dijon-Prenois/Kyalami style feel around the circuit. Very dry, lots of sand but still a bit of green/forest. I think it's looking okay but I'm feeling I should make it that bit more grass. Thoughts?

Maybe replacing some trees with cactuses?

Yes more grass crowella, if that is what you're going for. Also more large patches of dirt, there is too much sand atm.

The small grass-y area in the bottom left of the screen looks great, I suggest you make more of those :bg:

Thanks guys. That's what I ended up doing a bit more of Aleksi (and BBA said). Added a bit more dirt to the edges, took some of the sand away also wher eit isn't runoff. Looking much better. I guess I won't take much more since I want it to be quite dusty around the track so I think it now fits better rather than looking a sand trap around the whole outside. Small change but it looks better IMO :bg:

I love it

Small note:
Doesn't it look a bit odd where the different layouts meet?
Maybe its the dithering or should you do maybe a dashed line for the different layouts?

I had a faint line layer there originally but I thought it looked wrong. I'm playing around with it still but those dotted lines look great :)

Made another drawn track but can't decide if I must left the idea or not...
Is it worth a try.JPG
And this is the circuit I wanted to make on it :
Circuit.JPG
I don't know if it will be make a good race or not.
And I have other problems, like the lava which have the color of oil and make a bad road handling, the question of if I put HMap or not (as it's a picture)...
Maybe you guys have an idea ?

That's pretty neat Rendy. Reminds me of a Rally Special Stage with the side by side lanes.
