Yeah, it's complicated. After reading all your suggestions, my final idea is to nake it 1 election per 2 months with new "voting system" like suggested on previous page

The voting system with valued votes is too complicated IMO and too different from ToM custom in past 10+ years. I think we should either to keep 5 votes, if we'd estimate regularly present 20+ nominees in election (because that's why the number of votes was increased in past) or return to 3 votes (more suitable for elections with 10-20 tracks).

I guess the "7 tracks or less= 1 election for 2 months/8 tracks or more=1 election for 1 month" makes sense with the 3 votes system, with 5 votes in election the present habbit that 12 tracks is the border makes sense more to me.

How about opening the nominations thread for March(+April)?

Guys, a question: wisely considering amount of releases od new tracks, how do want ToM to continue in short and long term?

1. Keep running an election per 2 months like now.
2. Keep running an election per longer time period (each 3rd or each 4th month).
3. Do only anual elections, asap for 2015 and in next January for 2016.
4. Cease all elections after running 2015 ToY, just keep site online.
5. Any other ideas ...

3 months may be a long time, but it could work nicely

I guess track of quarter would be the best option. Definitely not stop altogether - at least keep ToY active.

It's a shame, the current number of new tracks. And I'm ashamed for the fact I haven't made any in a long time either.

I agree that it seems as the most suitable solution for the situation we are in right now .
