Yes.

Think for instance autos like new Fenomenon Stratos (inspired by Lancia Stratos), or more commonly new models of Ford Mustang to the old 60's era ones.

After MG is in chinese hands since 2005, they decided to build a new sports car. It's the MGD. Designed by Pininfarina with a very low drag coefficient of 0,26 for the coupe and 0,32 for the convertible, it's very modern, but it's still inspired by the MGA. It uses a 2,0 liter turbocharged GM engine that was as well used in the Opel speedster. 147kW are enough to put this 750 kg car to an amazing top speed of 245 kph. With this performance, some racing teams will use this in next GT3 season.
Have fun, XYY :bsmile:

btw I hope it'S not too bad that this car is 2 minutes beyond the deadline, but my internet connection broke unexpected and my written text was lost

Edit:
I thought you wanted to start the poll at Monday? I read that you're busy, though.

Well, I'm a bit late but if still the competition is not finished...

Iaschur manufacturer was founded in 1958 by Bernard Iaschur. In 60's Iaschur coupes were popular due to their original design combined with good performance and quite reasonable price. The first model was presented in 1961 and had not very innovational name, "230". It had 230 horsepower R6 engine and reached a maximum speed of 230 kph. Sold in 15780 pieces.
In 1965 next generation of Iaschur was released, Iaschur 290, which performance had improved by adding 60 horsepowers to the engine and working on aerodynamics. Air intakes has appeared in this model and several other changes has been also included.
Encouraged by the success of "230", in 1966 the company management decided to take a part in 12 Hours of Sebring. Unfortunately, the car broke down during the last practice session and couldn't be repaired. Now you can see this car in its white-and-red livery in the Museum of Unsuccessful Inventions in Upper Pcim.
However the coupe version of 290 indeed wasn't a good car, the cabrio was very popular. What a pity that only in Albania, Faroe Islands, Gambia and Tajikistan...
Despite the company was suffering a big economic problems, in late 60's Iaschur announced new car, Iaschur SuperSport. But even 330 horsepower engine was not enough to make a hit. The last model of SuperSport was the 189th produced and was sold in 1971. Then the company was disbanded.

In 2009 a private investor impressed by the old Iaschurs decided to produce a super sports prototype that was based on the old designs. The result of that work is Iaschur Salamander.

Here are all the models, with specifications:
