We once had one too but IIRC ours looked a bit different. But the ventilations and the end of the direction-indicator control rang a light in my head, cause the Volvo 940 has that too and we still have that car ;)

That's right. Subaru couldn't call it Sambar in Germany because of the VW Samba, so they called it Libero. And well, there are indeed some analogies...
