Hi.
I don't know if anyone else here does the same thing, but I'm going to tell you something really simple. Honestly, between the GR updates, the mixes coming out, and the new tracks to check out... I already have plenty of reasons to check my email every five minutes. Except that I also have another passion on the side: cartoons from the ’90s and 2000s, and I hang out quite a bit on an animation discussion forum called Animation Revelation. The vibe is actually a bit like GR’s people talking about niche stuff with a sense of perspective and I really like that. The problem is that I was juggling both, and inevitably I’d miss replies on one side or the other. Like, I’d reply on GR, and two days later I’d realize someone had replied to me on AR and I hadn’t seen a thing. It was a total nightmare in the end. So I fixed it by outlook synchronisation at work (I work as an IT technician in Mulhouse, so I have Outlook open all day anyway). I created two dedicated folders, one for each forum, with sorting rules for the email feeds. New threads go straight into them no more need to check manually every hour. It took me about twenty minutes to set up, about a month ago now. Since then, I haven’t missed much on either side.
