Very strange, that's right! I thought it was a Kadett first, then thought it might be something like Vauxhall/Holden. The holden looked most like it.
when you told that's wrong I typed "opel" in google search and put red as the colour. What did I find? the Ascona

No. But the engine is from Corvette, if I got that right. I'm not sure though, because you find few information about it.

It looks like a french car because of the Tricolor on the side but i think we'd need another clue.

And it's from the US.

Is the picture mirrored because you said it's form the US, and the steering wheel is on the wrong side...

Strange thing, I don't know whats wrong with this pic. Maybe it was mirrored at the place where I downloaded it, on all the other pics I saw it seemed to be a left-hand driver..

If it has something to do with France, the picture may be mirrored. French flag is Blue-White-Red, while near door the stripes are in different order.
