Btw. is a 23.3/23.4 good for the pole position?

I managed a high 158 kph (fastest lap: 27.76) yesterday evening after an hour of testing and from pole position. That's about 4 seconds behind Alonso but my race was a bit rough around the edges. So the times and the general speed is not the problem.
Alonso and Maclape have a precision and a consistency (even when they make tiny mistakes) that is mind-blowing.

Sure, please check your PMs later today.

There was a driver unable to access the track file on our login server.
GR Driver wrote:It's closed again now?
No. Login is open!
GR Driver wrote:Btw. is a 23.3/23.4 good for the pole position?
It is certainly not enough for the best practice times. But Malaysia QF wasn't exactly as quick as I expected. Soo... It's not entirely impossible.

Thanks. I wonder why someone would even try two pits. These tires have such low impact on my personal driving style, that I never considered changing them twice. Speed of the car - that's the real challenge, because I've slow reaction.
well, actually for me is the opposite since I still have to get used to the tyre wearing probably, but the result is that after some laps I feel like driving in the mud and it's really influencing the race, as you all can see :peacock: proof is, I didn't even consider to do the malaysian race with only one stop (I ended doing 3!).

plus, this is very true:

Well, I won't expect a ''very good'' result in Qualifying, but I hope, I'll get a starting place in the Top10. And no, I didn't made my login. :shhh:

Yeah Rudy was spot on with his tweet...I've applied totally different driving style in comparison with first two rounds.(I was surprised no one came up with that :o )
However, race is gonna be completely different story. With tyre wear QF driving style would be pointless.
Painless overtaking of AI's will be crucial for good result here. ;)
Good luck to all :goodvibes:

The race settings are the same again:
Image
Alonso, maclape and quite a lot of Germans at the top of the table. I guess our neighbors Kuba, Mszostus, Fiolek etc. took a more conservative approach and concentrate on a strong race. Gzehoo usually catches up as well.
Mariospiniello was a bit unlucky with what could have also been another top 7 position. Argentinian Pablinho joined us during the session without any testing. And after a promising first round of the season 2012 Italian GP winner Happy412 and 2009 Belgian GP pole-sitter GR Driver are struggling a bit at the moment.

The practice tracks are out already. Good luck to everybody!

Robert's login attempt took place before yours. In case of the same result this is used as a tie-breaker.

Well, I'm a little disappointed that I didn't made it in the Top10, but I still saw that. :sweatdrop: And I'm also not a good hotlapper, I'm better at racing with continuous times and full car. :misch:

In Australia I was also in a similar situation. In Qualifying I had the same time like Majortom. But because I logged in earlier, I have become the 10th place before Majortom. :)
