How did you decide your racing number?
How did you decide your racing number?
Some competitions allow us to use racing numbers. I'd like to ask you guys, how did you create your racing number?
My racing number is 73 (before this I usually use 14). It is taken from the last 2 digits of my junior highschool's national exams identification number, which is 04-314-073.

Most commonly I use #76, reference to video game company Namco (whose "image number" is 765).

Re: How did you decide your racing number?
#27 'Cause I had that number on my jersey when I played hockey. And it's also Gilles Villeneuve's legendary number.

Re: How did you decide your racing number?
#64, because it is a nice round number. It is the square number of 8, a number of bits a console can have and i just plain like the number for some reason.
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Re: How did you decide your racing number?
Yeah. But that's not related to my number. Just the starting number of the F1 car at PGR in 2010 season.
Next year (actually this year ), it might be a totally different number, you know.

Re: How did you decide your racing number?
Mine is #52. It was given by JaviBasu who was the manager of my first championship - Generally World Championship of Nations. And since than I use it as my own.
Re: How did you decide your racing number?
Hey, I used that number too! Though if I didn't miss all the tournaments (I don't have time for comps because of my uber-lot activities), I'd like to use #76. It's actually the lucky number of N.... , and used by P.. R..... C... . Guess what those are...The MNZ wrote:Tonga wrote:#13 - my personal lucky number.

Re: How did you decide your racing number?
It actually has to do with my birthday, I was born on a Friday the 13th, had the umbilical cord four times round my neck and was taken via a cesarian cut right in time to not suffer from any lack of oxygen. Was critical, but all went well on a Friday the 13th - therefore 13 is my personal lucky number, it just has to be...Rendy wrote:Hey, I used that number too! Villeneuve used #12 more than #27The Noose wrote:#27 'Cause I had that number on my jersey when I played hockey. And it's also Gilles Villeneuve's legendary number.
Mine is 95, Randomly chose it for my first karting season and it has stuck ever since
Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!
Re: How did you decide your racing number?
5 has been my "lucky number" for a long time, so although I don't use one specific number, it's usually variations of that... 05, 55, 50...
I like short, simple signatures!
Re: How did you decide your racing number?
Yes but Villeneuve made #27 famous and Villeneuve is better known from that number.Martyn wrote:...Villeneuve used #12 more than #27...

Re: How did you decide your racing number?
Either #22 or #9 (Born on 22/9/96, and 9 is my lucky number), or in 3 digit cases #229. Although I would not mind #1.
